In the “IFSA Young Scientist Incubator Session”, 20 students will have the opportunity to present academic and scientific projects in the style of “TED Talks” (informal presentations), each 5 minutes long. The session, which is organized by the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA), is open to bachelor and master students.
Interested Bachelor and Master Students are invited to submit abstracts for this session before the deadline 1 August 2017.
IFSA is a non-political, non-religious, and non- profit organization that connects forestry students from all over the world in a wide spectrum of activities. IFSA and IUFRO have a strong partnership, and a long tradition of collaboration, generating opportunities for IFSA and IUFRO members alike. Through the Joint IUFRO-IFSA Task Force on Forest Education, the IFSA-IUFRO Joint Position, student volunteering at IUFRO congresses, internships, and the co-organisation of side events for international meetings, IFSA and IUFRO members network and exchanges ideas and experiences.
